CUSTOM 1911 THIN PISTOL GRIPS COBRA
After years of requests, we’ve decided to make these publicly available on the site. The iconic COBRA grips from the 1980’s action movie of the same name, featuring Stallone as “Lt. Cobretti”. The grips are made right here in Flint Michigan using our new proprietary process to bond the polymer art in a slight 3D texture permanently to machined G10 panels. This new process is stronger than our anodizing. Our process is chemical and UV resistant with brighter colors and more crisp detail, as well as a 3 dimensional aspect that allows you to “feel” the art as very slight grip texture. While not as aggressive as checkering, its a definite step above our anodized line.
Fitment: 1911 Fullsize standard frame w/ ambi safety fitment for THIN GRIP BUSHINGS. Pictured on Colt Series 80 Government model. This model is for 1911’s using thin grip bushings and screws, not standard bushings with standard grip screws.
