We strive to ship packages daily, but, that can not always happen. We DO GUARANTEE that we will ship in stock items within 2-3 business days. Priority mail displays an estimated delivery time.. this is a function of the post office, and NOT a Wicked Grips estimate. It is an estimate, not a GUARANTEE. If you want a guaranteed 2nd day delivery AFTER we process, please choose UPS 2nd day.

We cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or stolen parcels after they have left our custody. If you would like to purchase extra insurance, please advise us, and we can add that to your order.

AT THIS TIME WE WILL NOT SHIP DIRECTLY ACROSS INTERNATIONAL BORDERS DUE TO ITAR REGULATIONS AND POSSIBLE CONFUSION ON WHAT EXACTLY IS REQUIRED. WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING OPTIONS?
WE OFFER BOTH USPS PRIORITY MAIL AND UPS. USPS PRIORITY MAIL LISTS A DELIVERY ESTIMATE (2 DAY, 3 DAY, ECT..).. THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEED SERVICE BY DATE. THIS IS AN ESTIMATE THEY USE, ON THEIR SYSTEM. THEIR ESTIMATE DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT OUR PROCESSING TIMES… NOR IS IT A GUARANTEED SERVICE LIKE UPS 2ND DAY. 

WHY IS UPS SHIPPING SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN USPS?
UPS CHARGES US RETAIL RATES, THAT INCLUDE TRACKING, E-MAIL NOTIFICATION, AND INSURANCE. SHIPPING TIME SHOULD BE THE SAME FOR PRIORITY MAIL AS UPS GROUND, SO WE OFFER THE CHOICES, BUT LEAVE THE DECISION UP TO THE CUSTOMER. WE UNDERSTAND THE HIGH COST DIFFERENCE, HOWEVER, WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE AS MANY CHOICES AS POSSIBLE IN DELIVERY & SERVICES.

NORMAL LEAD TIME ESTIMATES FOR PREORDERS ARE AN ESTIMATED 6-8+ WEEKS, THIS IS ONLY AN ESTIMATE. CUSTOM “ONE OFF” ALUMINUM GRIP ORDERS CAN RUN UPWARDS OF 8-10+ WEEKS ESTIMATED…. Grip Fitting: Wicked Grips made for the CZ75, Browning HiPower, and Desert
Eagle…
Due to changing frame tolerances overs the many years and different
factory/makers of these pistols, minor fitting might be required in rare
cases. We suggest having a qualified person install them if that is the
case. You may also ask us to help fit the grips for you, which we are happy
to do for free… However, the customer would be responsible for shipping.
We make our grips to tight tolerances, which fit the vast majority of
quality frames, but we cannot be responsible for tolerance changes outside
of our control.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY WOOD GRIPS?
FIRST… NEVER CLEAN YOUR GRIPS WITH GUN CLEANER… A SIMPLE BUFF WITH A GOOD WAX, LIKE RENAISSANCE WAX, IS WHAT WE RECOMMEND. A FEW SIMPLE RULES TO FOLLOW:

  • DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN YOUR GRIP SCREWS! GRIP SCREWS CREATE A WEDGE EFFECT, AND WILL CRACK A GRIP IF YOU TORQUE IT DOWN LIKE YOU ARE MOUNTING A TIRE!! JUST SNUG THEM UP.
  • DO NOT USE DIP CLEANERS… THIS WILL RUIN YOUR GRIP’S FINISH

HOW SHOULD I MOUNT THE GRIPS? TIGHTEN SCREWS?
THIS CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH WITH OUR MORE EXOTIC MATERIALS… DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE GRIP SCREWS. MATERIALS LIKE HIGH END BURLS, GEMSTONES, PEARLS, HORN, BONE, IVORY, ECT… ARE VERY EASY TO CRACK IF YOU OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. THIS ALSO INCLUDES OUR REPLICATED GEM, JADE, BUFFALO, IVORY ARTIST SERIES GRIPS. JUST A DAB OF BLUE LOCTITE ON THE GRIP SCREW, AND SNUG THEM UP.. AND YOU WILL HAVE YEARS OF TROUBLE FREE USE! IF YOU WRENCH ON YOUR GRIP SCREW TO GET THEM AS TIGHT AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.. YOU WILL BREAK EXOTIC MATERIAL GRIPS.

WILL YOU WARRANTY MY WOOD GRIPS IF I BREAK THEM?
IF YOU TAKE PROPER CARE OF THEM, AND FOLLOW OUR DIRECTION IN NOT OVERTIGHTENING THE GRIP SCREWS, THEN WE DO TAKE CARE OF ISSUES THAT CAN OCCUR WITH EXOTIC MATERIALS, AND REPAIR THEM FREE OF CHARGE. IF THE DAMAGE IS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT… IF THEY ARE CRACKED THRU THE GRIP SCREW HOLES DUE TO OVER TORQUE TO A GRIP SCREW… THEN WE DO NOT REPAIR FOR FREE.

WILL YOU ACCEPT RETURNS FOR FULL REFUNDS?

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY APPROVED RETURN AFTER 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Returns. All sales are final. Wicked Grips may, at our discretion, make an exception in which case a restocking charge of 20% of the purchase price plus shipping will be charged. Any and all returns must be authorized via email and returns must be accompanied by, and will only be accepted with, a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) issued by Wicked Grips. To discuss a possible return, you must email us at ed@wickedgrips.com.

 DUE TO THE NATURE OF THESE PARTS.. FIREARM PARTS AND ACCESSORIES, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURN ON ANY PART THAT SHOWS SIGNS OF USE OR HAVING BEEN INSTALLED OR AN ATTEMPT TO INSTALL IT HAS OCCURRED… UNLESS YOU DISCUSS IT WITH US FIRST, AND WE APPROVE THE RETURN.

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE ABOUT AN ITEM AND THE INSTALLATION PROCESS, OR ITS COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR PARTICULAR FIREARM, PLEASE ASK FIRST, AND WE WILL HELP YOU SELECT THE RIGHT PART FOR YOUR NEEDS. IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO INSTALL, WE RECOMMEND TAKING IT TO A REPUTABLE GUNSMITH FOR INSTALLATION.

WILL YOUR SPRING PLUGS FIT MY GUN IF IT HAS A FULL LENGTH GUIDE ROD?
NO… THEY WILL NOT. SPRING PLUGS ON A 1911 WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE TRADITIONAL RECOIL SPRING AND SHORT GUIDE ROD. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF YOU HAVE A FULL LENGTH GUIDE ROD, UNLOAD YOUR WEAPON, AND SAFELY RETRACT THE SLIDE. IF YOU SEE A ROD OF STEEL UNDER YOUR BARREL, POKING OUT THE FRONT, YOU HAVE A FULL LENGTH GUIDE ROD.
