Wicked Grips Custom Grip order terms

 
Hello! We are excited to work on a true custom project for you, but we have found that its easier for everyone if we explain the process in detail and what is required to do your custom project. Please email us with your custom order questions. We do not discuss custom orders over the phone, thank you!

Cost:

We offer two different full custom options. Art series grips and Engraved.

• Art series grips are machined G10 grips with our art technique permanently bonded. Art series grips come with a lifetime warranty on workmanship and materials.
• Engraved are aluminum grips with your art/idea engraved into the metal, with several options for depth and finish. These options will be discussed with you during the initial consultation.

The initial fee for ART series grips is $45 if the customer supplies the art in jpeg or other useable format. Artwork must by copyright free or with permission from the artist/owner. 

The initial fee for Engraved series grips is $75 if the customer supplies the art in jpeg or useable format. Again, artwork must be copyright free or have the permission of the artist/owner. 

If the customer wants our artists to create art for them for their project, we can certainly do that! However, the cost to create art from scratch would be based on hours, and final cost will depend upon the amount of work involved in your idea. The custom art fee would include the initial set up art fees listed above, plus an additional $35 per hour. We will discuss your idea and quote you for the time needed in advance of invoicing or payment. 

Artwork:

We do not offer free mock ups of ideas before orders are placed. Art is a very expensive resource which we can only put towards projects for customers who have paid orders. However, we do give every customer the chance to see and approve their mock up before we make their grips. 

When discussing your art project with you, we ask that customers be as specific as possible. If there are fonts, colors, themes or ideas.. backgrounds or other elements that you would like, please include this information with your art or during the discussion so we can accurately quote you. We will make a free revision to your proof if you would like to make small changes to your idea. These would include adjusting hue or color, adding in more or less detail, changing size of the font, basic layout of the fonts or art elements (making a medallion bigger.. smaller.. more or less 3D… etc.).  Once your proof is made, we will email it to you for approval before the set is made. 

If the customer completely changes their idea and decides to go in a different direction with new art/ideas from those originally quoted, we can certainly work with you! However, this will incur a new art fee.

Art created for you from scratch by our team of artists is an option, as discussed above. We can discuss this with you during your email consultation before your quote! 

Lead time:

Lead times are estimated. We strive to give you a reliable estimate, but there are too many variables involved to be exact. Typical ART series custom projects run in the 2-3 week realm. ENGRAVED series grips can run in 2-3 week realm as well, estimated. Estimated time frames will vary thru out the year, and we will quote you more accurately during the consultation.
