1911 3D Metal Spring Plug PVD Color Coated - TRI BLADE
Designed in house by our artist Kade Strange, then manufactured on the latest CNC machines to precise tolerances. Made right here in Flint Michigan, Each plug is then finished in PVD color coatings - Blue, Black Grey, Bronze or Gold - giving you an array of high end options for your prized 1911.
PVD is a tough as nails, scratch / scuff resistant coating with a surface RC of 80! You will find PVD coatings being used on some high end firearms, as well as high end cutlery. It is an expensive process, but unmatched in durability when compared to other finishes
These plugs will fit both the 5" barreled government model full-size as well as the 4" barreled commander style with the short GI style guide rod. Spring plugs will NOT WORK with a full length guide rod or a bull barrel style 1911. Our plugs fit any of the current 1911 spec pistols in production by the various companies like Colt, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Rock Island, Nighthawk, Wilson, etc... (Including Coonan). This will only fit guns with a bushing barrel and short GI style Guide Rod.
