GRIP SCREW INSTALLATION:

The first step in working on any firearm is to make sure it is unloaded and safe. Please remove the magazine, and retract the slide to assure the chamber is empty. Never attempt to work on a loaded firearm. If you are still unsure on how to install your screws after viewing the following instructions, please take your firearm to a reputable gunsmith. 

Step one: Remove screws and bit from packaging. Bit is designed to fit the slots machined into the edge of the grip screw. 

Step two: Insert Bit into tool handle, then insert bit into slots in screw, then insert thru grip into grip screw hole, and with even pressure, turn tool handle clockwise to install screw. NOTE, there is no need for excessive pressure or to over torque screws. Turn handle until screw is fully seated, then snug them up. Excessive pressure can cause the tool to slip out of its slots, scratching both the screw finish and the grips.  Do Not Attempt to install screws with bit held in your fingertips, as your fingers cannot apply enough torque to fully install/seat the screws. Use a tool handle.
